Northern NM Rural Grocery Stores

This interactive map is part of the research project "Revitalizing Rural New Mexico Community Stores For Justice, Development & Health " from the UNM Department of Community & Regional Planning. We are exploring the history and importance of rural community grocery stores/general stores in Northern New Mexico, and working to develop solutions to help protect and restore them. This project and map focuses on stores in Rio Arriba, Santa Fe, Taos, San Miguel and Mora County. This map is a WORK IN PROGRESS - we need your help to ADD important stores (historic or current) from your community onto this map. Contact earasim@unm.edu with questions, or if you have trouble adding to the map!
