Artist Jeff "Fish" Wells has been building dinosaurs by hand in his backyard since 1981... over 35 of them, including a 40-foot T-Rex you can actually peek inside. It's a private residence, so knock and ask permission first; Wells is often out there working and happy to chat. Call ahead 860-848-0616 Tucked in the trees across from Mohegan Sun, easy to drive past if you're not looking... long pants recommended, it's a wooded yard. Free, donations welcome.
