Wachusett Mountain is a larger day-trip ski area with over 25 trails, a fast summit lift, and one of the most extensive night-skiing operations in New England. The terrain works well for beginners through intermediates, lessons are a major focus, and the separate tubing area makes it easier to manage mixed-interest groups. This is a ski-for-a-few-hours mountain, not an overnight destination.
