Village Peddler and Chocolatorium

A gift shop in a renovated shed, with Vermont maple syrup, cheese, preserves, and a 200-pound chocolate teddy bear named Cocoa on display. Next door, the Chocolatorium exhibit walks you through the history of chocolate, with a movie, self-guided tastings, and a hands-on experience where you make your own chocolate bar. Chocolates are made in small batches at their sister store in Bennington.
