Part haunted house, part cabinet of curiosities, this offbeat collection of taxidermy, medical specimens, and steampunk oddities is tucked inside the basement of a private Victorian home.  Tours are hosted by the owners themselves and feel more like a theatrical experience than a museum visit.  It’s not scary, just wonderfully bizarre... and best suited for tweens, teens, or adults with a sense of humor.  You’ll need to book ahead and bring a donation: cash, booze (yes, really), or something weird to leave behind. One of the strangest stops near Pittsburgh... _and that’s saying something._
