About
America's oldest natural history museum, founded in 1812 on the Ben Franklin Parkway, with a genuinely magnificent dinosaur hall featuring full-scale mounted skeletons including a mid-action T. rex that stops kids in their tracks. Beyond the dinos there's a Dino Dig station for kids 4–10, a live butterfly garden where butterflies land on you, hands-on natural history galleries, and live animals throughout.
