A random clearing just off Route 140 with an enormous boulder surrounded by four oversize wooden chairs, set up to look like a giant's dinner table... no signage, no explanation, just tree-trunk "plates" and birch "cups" on top of the rock. It's the work of a local family, and it's become a bit of a foliage-season pull-off for people driving through Rutland County. Free, no set hours, just watch for it on the side of the road.
