A 10-acre neighborhood of 40 real historic houses, some dating back to the 1690s, all telling the story of Portsmouth from colonial days up through the mid-1900s. Costumed guides walk you through furnished homes and gardens, and your ticket is actually good for two days in a row, so it's easy to split the visit up if kids get tired.
