This tiny East Village shop is where some of NYC’s top chefs go looking for ingredients they can’t find anywhere else. There are around 1,200 things packed onto the shelves, including rare spices, more than 30 kinds of vinegar, unusual salts, oils, powders and other finds from around the world. Walk-in shopping is currently only available Friday and Saturday; Tuesday-Thursday is by appointment
