Shawnee Mountain is a family-favorite in the Poconos with a good mix of terrain and a really solid beginner experience. Lessons run daily and there are programs that help kids build real confidence on skis or a board.  There’s a big snow tubing park if you want to give the skis a break, and night skiing keeps the fun going well into the evening.
