From February 6–15, 2026, the Saranac Lake Winter Carnival packs in parades, fireworks, and all kinds of winter fun... but the real showstopper is the massive Ice Palace built from frozen blocks from the lake. It’s lit up nightly and feels straight out of a snow globe. Most events are free, and the small-town energy makes it one of the most charming winter festivals in the Northeast.
