This fish hatchery produces 3.5 million trout and salmon every year to stock Lake Ontario and 100+ waterways.  And, you can walk right through it for free. There are fish observation decks, indoor aquaria, and mounted fish exhibits inside. If you visit in October or late March through early April, you can watch salmon actively jumping the fish ladder... kids absolutely love this.
