An open-pit mica mine dating to 1803, the oldest and largest commercial mica quarry in the U.S. You dig for real minerals (mica, feldspar, beryl) and keep whatever you find or can pry loose, tunnels and underground chambers included. Camping available on-site too, tents and self-contained RVs, dogs allowed on leash.
