Two 13-foot granite whale tails "diving" into the grass right off I-89... in the one New England state with zero coastline. There's actually history behind the joke: workers found a fossil beluga whale skeleton in Vermont in 1849, left over from when the area was underwater 13,000 years ago. A short walking path loops right up to the sculpture if you want more than the highway drive-by view... most people just see it from I-89 between exits 12 and 13.
