This area of New Jersey was once underwater, so kids can wade into the shallow brook, sift the gravel, and actually find shark teeth up to 72 million years old. It's free to visit with a short, easy walk from the parking lot to the water. Bring old sneakers or water shoes since feet are going to get wet, and there are no restrooms on site.
