The Blackstone Valley Polar Express departs from the historic Woonsocket train depot for a 90-minute ride full of singing, a reading of the classic holiday story, hot cocoa, cookies, and a stop with Santa where every child gets a silver bell. For 2025 the ride runs on weekends from November 7 - December 21, with departures at 3:30 - 6:30 PM. The fun actually begins before the train: there’s a Christmas Village outside the depot with photo ops, characters, and kids’ activities to enjoy while you wait.
