Old Fort Western

Old Fort Western, Cony Street, Augusta, ME, USA

About

Visit the oldest surviving wooden fort in the United States, built in 1754 with costumed interpreters walking you through what daily life looked like there in the 18th century. It's right along the Water Street area, so it's easy to pair with a walk downtown before or after your visit. Open Wednesday through Monday from late May to early September, weekends only in fall.
