Olana State Historic Site

Olana State Historic Site is painter Frederic Church’s mansion, set high above the Hudson with sweeping views.  Families walk the carriage roads (_free, stroller-friendly_) and can join a guided tour inside to see the vividly painted rooms and the artist’s studio.  The grounds are open daily year-round; house tours run seasonally and take about an hour
