Oak Mountain Ski Center is a small, local hill that works well for families and newcomers who want a manageable day on snow without the production of a big resort.  The terrain stays gentle, lessons are front and center, and night skiing makes it easy to plan an afternoon run straight into an early dinner without feeling rushed.  It’s a simple place to introduce kids to skiing and build confidence one run at a time.
