Newark Winter Village turns downtown Newark into a lively outdoor holiday spot with ice skating, ice bumper-cars, and heated igloos you can reserve for warm-up breaks with snacks and hot drinks. Admission to the village itself is free, and you only pay for the activities you choose. The 2025 season runs November 29 through January 4, Wednesday- Sunday (4-8 pm on weekdays and noon to 8 pm on weekends). Skate rentals are $15 for adults and $10 for kids, and the ice bumper cars are $20 for an 8-minute ride.
