Kayak the Hudson for free... no reservations, no experience needed, kids can do it! Just show up at \*\*Pier 96 (\*\*W 56th St) during open hours, sign a waiver, and hop in a kayak. Sessions run Saturdays and Sundays from 1–6 pm (May 24–Oct 12), plus Mondays and Tuesdays from 5:30–7:30 pm (June 2–Aug 26). It’s first-come, first-served, so arrive early to avoid the wait. Note: there are no restrooms on-site; the closest is at DeWitt Clinton Park (W 54th St & 12th Ave).
