Loon Mountain is built around convenience and flow: a gondola from the base, clearly separated learning areas, and terrain that fans out instead of stacking on top of itself.  It’s especially good for families with progressing skiers who want long groomers, a legit terrain park scene, and a base village in Lincoln where you can walk to food and shops after skiing.  The tubing park and slopeside lodging with pool access make it easy to stay put for the weekend.
