Jiminy Peak is a Berkshires classic that actually _works_ for families learning to ski, with structured lesson programs and terrain that helps kids build confidence.  A big plus here is night skiing... about half the mountain stays lit into the evening so you can keep going past sundown. There’s also a real resort feel with places to grab dinner and on-site lodging if you want to make it a weekend.
