This is one of DC’s most interactive museums. Start by taking on a secret identity, then use your badge throughout the museum to complete an undercover mission, testing skills like surveillance, code-breaking and analyzing intelligence. Along the way, see real spy gadgets, an Enigma machine and James Bond’s Aston Martin. The whole visit is self-guided, and I’d plan around 2-3 hours.
