About

This is the only Revolutionary War battle fought entirely on Vermont soil, a short but brutal fight on July 7, 1777, as American troops tried to slow the British down after losing Fort Ticonderoga. Kids can walk the battlefield trails and check out the museum on-site to see how it all played out. Open Wednesday through Sunday, 10am to 5pm, (confirm times) with paid admission.
