On November 29, 2025, Mystic kicks off the season with its annual Holiday Lighted Boat Parade, where Santa arrives by tugboat and dozens of boats cruise down the river decked out in lights after the tree lighting. The tree lighting happens right after sunset, so plan to get there early for a good viewing spot along the waterfront. Totally free event.
