This is the oldest house in Connecticut, built in 1639 by settler Henry Whitfield. The stone walls are original, so you're really walking through 17th-century history. Self-guided tours let kids move at their own pace, and there's usually a rotating exhibit alongside the house tour, plus a scavenger hunt during seasonal events. Small admission fee
