This tiny farmhouse in the West Village was once the writing studio of Margaret Wise Brown, author of *Goodnight Moon*. The house originally stood on the Upper East Side and was moved to Charles Street in 1967 to save it from demolition. It’s a private residence, so this is a quick sidewalk stop.
