Fort Mott State Park

This fort was built to defend the Delaware River but never had its guns fire in battle, and kids can walk through old gun emplacements, underground tunnels, and a fire control tower right along the water. There's a museum inside the welcome center too, plus picnic spots along the shoreline. Free to visit, and dogs on leash are welcome.
