About
This was a key Continental Army position in 1776, high on a cliff overlooking the Hudson River, and where the George Washington Bridge stands today. Kids can walk out to reconstructed Revolutionary War barracks and cannon positions, check out uniforms and gear in the visitor center, and take in the view over the water and skyline. Free to visit.
