First Night Portsmouth is a family-friendly New Year’s Eve celebration with daytime performances, outdoor entertainment, street artists, and plenty for kids to do before the 7:30 pm fireworks over South Mill Pond. It is all Free, with activities picking up in the late afternoon. If you go around 5 pm, you’ll have time to catch a few shows and still get a great fireworks spot without keeping the kids out late.
