Duck Library
Duck Library, West 23rd Street, New York, NY, USA
About
A tiny metal box attached to a signpost on West 23rd Street in Chelsea filled with small rubber ducks, run on a simple take-a-duck, leave-a-duck policy. It started when an anonymous stranger began leaving ducks around the neighborhood, and a local dog walker took over as the unofficial duck librarian, restocking and tending to it. Free, always open, and one of those only-in-New-York things that stops kids in their tracks.
