A historic 2,045‑ft stone jetty built in 1762 and extended in 1806 into Salem Harbor. Now part of Salem Maritime National Historic Site, it offers a waterfront walk with interpretive signs and historic views—and houses the iconic Derby Wharf Lighthouse at the tip. Free admission, kid- and stroller-friendly, plus a full‑sized replica tall ship (the _Friendship_) docked alongside.
