Bristol Mountain is a solid choice for families with mixed abilities who want real skiing without the chaos of a mega resort.  The vertical is legit for the region, lessons are well run, and night skiing across most trails makes it easy to ski after school or stretch a day trip into the evening. This one is about the skiing, not the extras.
