Boothbay Harbor’s tree lighting and boat parade is a full afternoon-to-evening waterfront celebration. Santa comes in by boat, the town lights the big tree at dusk, and then decorated boats parade through the harbor before fireworks light up the water. It all happens on December 6, 2025, with family activities starting mid-afternoon and the parade and fireworks after dark. Santa arrives at 2 pm, the tree lighting is at 4:45 pm, the boat parade begins at 6:45 pm, and fireworks follow right after the parade.
