On the rocks over Gloucester Harbor, this 1907 summer house was built for decades by its owner, one of America's first interior decorators... it ended up with 56 rooms, each one themed differently, stuffed with colored glass, folk art, and odd little collections. Guided tour runs about an hour, and you can add on the gardens after if you want the full visit.
