Two historic buildings from the Revolutionary-era... the Ladd-Gilman House, where a rare original copy of the Declaration of Independence turned up 200 years after it arrived in town, and the Folsom Tavern, where George Washington actually stopped for a pint in 1789. Guided tours run about 90 minutes, but they offer self-guided visits too if you've got younger kids who need to move at their own pace.
